The Transnational Law Institute is delighted that Professor Russell Miller, co-editor in chief of the German Law Journal, has joined the law faculty of W&L. Prof. Miller founded the German Law Journal together with Prof. Peer Zumbansen of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He currently offers W&L students the opportunity to write book reviews, case comments, short articles, and, following instructional learning, assist in discussing and assessing submissions for the Journal.
The German Law Journal has published the work of many top scholars, including Bruce Ackerman, Jurgen Habermas, David Kennedy, Anne-Marie Slaughter, and Patricia Wald. It is in its eighth year of publication and is a leading English language forum for innovative scholarship in comparative, European, German, and international law. Last year, the German Law Journal website received over 1 million hits - a testament to its large global readership of academics, students, practitioners, judges, and lawmakers.
