Professionalism and Legal Practice: Heritage and Adjustment

Merton College, University of Oxford
18th – 25th March 2007

• Application for approval for this program is pending with the Virginia Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board
• Information will be provided on obtaining CLE credits through other State Bars
• Participants could be eligible to receive up to 12 hours continuing legal education credit
• More than 4 hours of instruction will be related to ethics
• More than 1 hour will be related to professionalism
• One hour will be related to substance abuse and emotional distress

THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

• One of the oldest universities in the world, dating from the late 12th Century

MERTON COLLEGE

• The Library is probably the oldest surviving working library in the United Kingdom.
• The Hall, Chapel, Lodge and Mob Quadrangle also date from the College's early years
