School of Law to Launch New Clinic to Assist Low-income Taxpayers

Story Abstract:Beginning in January 2008, a new clinic serving low-income taxpayers will begin operations at the Washington and Lee University School of Law. Clinic students will help resolve tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and provide outreach to individuals who speak English as a second language on their rights and responsibilities as U.S. taxpayers.
