The Lexington Principles on the Rights of Detainees

The mission of the Lexington Principles Project is to begin implementation of the 9-11 Commission's recommendation regarding the treatment of individuals detained on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities by first engaging the global community of legal scholars and military practitioners to clarify and strengthen international norms relevant to the topic.
