Bryan A. Bonner is a national security attorney with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Office of the Chief Counsel (OCC). In this capacity, Bryan serves as Special Advisor to the Air Domain Intelligence Integration Element, Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
While at DHS TSA OCC, Bryan has served as Senior Counsel for Administrative Litigation, Senior Counsel for Field Operations, Acting Assistant Chief Counsel – Office of Law Enforcement – Federal Air Marshal Service, Acting Assistant Chief Counsel – OCC Field Operations, Field Counsel – Reagan National Airport, and Special Intelligence Counsel for Partnership Engagement. Prior to joining DHS TSA OCC, he served as Counsel to the Federal Reserve Board and as an active duty/reserve Assistant Staff Judge Advocate with the United States Air Force. Bryan specializes in litigation, national security law, intelligence law, operational law, labor law, and employment law.
In addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor at Washington & Lee University School of Law, Bryan also serves as a mentor with the DHS Office of the General Counsel Mentor Program and the Sara Start Fund for Foster Youth. Bryan is Vice Chair of the Browne Academy Board of Trustees in Alexandria, VA.
