Practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1974 through 2006. Associate, Redfern, Butler & Morgan, 1974-1978; Partner, Redfern, Butler & Morgan, 1978-1979; Partner, Hurt, Richardson, Garner,Todd & Cadenhead, 1980-1985; Partner, O'Callaghan, Saunders & Stumm, 1985-1990; Senior Litigation Partner, Commercial Litigation Section, Smith Gambrell & Russell, LLP, 1990-2006. Represented corporations and individuals in a wide variety of business-related disputes in state and federal courts and in arbitration throughout the United States involving mergers and acquisitions, commercial and other contracts, business torts, franchising, insurance, products liability, professional liability, securities fraud, employment and real estate.
