The Office of Career Planning ("OCP") staffs two former attorneys as advisors and remains available to graduates throughout their careers for:

• self-assessment for those seeking some direction in their desire for a job change
• strategizing for those seeking a specific change
• resume and cover letter review

• OCP Resources - The research materials in OCP, as well as a phone, fax machine, and computers are available to W&L Law Alumni 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  
  
• Reciprocity - If you are no longer in Lexington, we can request that you be given access to the resources and services of a law school in your area. To request reciprocity, please email Jane McDonald with the name of the school with which you wish to request reciprocity and complete contact information for the head of their Career Services Office. Ms. McDonald will also need your name and class year.

FOR ALUMNI WHO WANT TO HELP CURRENT STUDENTS/FELLOW ALUMS

Alumni can also provide assistance to OCP and to current students and other alumni of the law school in many ways. These include:

• Participating in the Alumni Mentoring Network (click to volunteer)
• Speaking at programs for students
• Interviewing during Regional and On-Campus Interview Programs
• Posting internships with your current employer (paid or unpaid) and post-graduate job opportunities for students and fellow alumni
