Ms. Olan joined OCP in August 2007.  She graduated from Oberlin College and currently serves on the Executive Board of its Alumni Council.  Ms. Olan worked as a Litigation Legal Assistant for two years at a large firm in New York before heading to Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.  Following graduation, she clerked for the Massachusetts Superior Court before relocating to Virginia.  She has served as the Executive Director of Project Horizon, a nonprofit domestic violence and sexual assault agency, in Lexington, and as a clerk for two judges on the Court of Appeals of Virginia.  Contact Ms. Olan for advice on career strategy; resume and cover letter review; assistance with interview skills and preparation; student programming and feedback on OCP.

Lauren E. Kozak, Assistant Director

Ms. Kozak joined OCP in January 2010. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. She then attended law school at Pepperdine University. Following graduation from law school, she worked in the litigation practice group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Los Angeles. Andrea Hilton, Associate Director for Professional Development

Ms. Hilton is a 1985 cum laude graduate of the law school.  After serving two years as a federal law clerk in Alexandria, Virginia, she practiced corporate transactional law in the Washington DC offices of several large, multi-city firms.  She returned to Lexington to join the administration in 2000, and served as the Director of Admissions from 2004 – 2010.  In the newly-created post of Associate Director for Professional Development, she focuses on assisting students with the transition from law school to the profession, and provides advice on strategy and applications to students seeking positions as post-graduate law clerks.

Ms. Evans holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Syracuse University. She has worked at W&L Law since 1998 and joined the Office of Career Planning in Summer 2006. Suzanne Wade, Law Career Planning Coordinator

Ms. Wade joined the Career Planning office in May 2008. She attended Mary Baldwin College and has worked at W&L since 1992. Ms. Wade has more than ten years experience working in the career planning field at W&L. Ms. Wade assists with all aspects of educational and recruitment programming.
